How it started
CupAddict was born out of a simple frustration: great coffee costs too much when you're buying it cup by cup. Our founders were spending $6, $7, even $8 a day at specialty cafés — and loving every sip — but doing the math made it painful. That's over $2,000 a year just for coffee. There had to be a better way.
So they went deep into the world of home coffee machines. They tested drip brewers, espresso machines, French presses, bean-to-cup automatics, and everything in between. They learned what separates a truly great machine from a mediocre one, and they discovered that the best machines were rarely the most expensive ones — they were just the hardest to find.
